Amid the FBI investigation into the mid-air dispute with his eldest son Maddox, 15, Brad Pitt has voluntarily undergone drug and alcohol testing.

A friend of the 52-year-old actor told TMZ that Brad ‘offered to take a drug test shortly after the jet plane incident to prove that he had nothing to hide’.

Another source has confirmed to Us Weekly that he ‘has cooperated [with the investigation]. He certainly wants what’s best for his kids and for them to be in the best environment, and he’ll do anything that will put them in the best position.’

It’s rumoured that Brad hasn’t seen his six children since his estranged wife Angelina Jolie, 41, blindsided him by filing for divorce on September 19.

‘[He] wants to be cleared of [any wrongdoing] before he sees them,’ says a pal. ‘He is confident he will be cleared. The kids are asking to see Brad, so he is hoping to see them next week.’
