That’s it. We’ve just lost one of Twitter’s biggest gems as Chrissy Teigen has made her account private.

The 30-year-old model and wife to singer John Legend switched her account settings – thankfully not deleting the platform –  this afternoon, merely replying ‘Yeah’ when a fan asked if her account was private.

Her reasoning? ‘Just not strong enough anymore’.

Aw, Chrissy!

Although clarifying that her decision to lock her account had nothing to do with trolls, she admitted that, ‘It’s not haters or trolls or generally mean people, I just feel like I’m absorbing bad shit 24/7.’

‘My body and mind cannot handle it anymore,’ she added.

Fair enough! Chrissy has always been very vocal on her social media platforms and will frequently reply to her trolls. However, it might have become a little too much.

Come back to us soon please! And in the meantime, please never stop posting photos of baby Luna on Instagram – then we really don’t know what we’d do.
