She has always been the quintessential Aussie beach babe.

But eight months after giving birth to baby boy Rocket Zot, Lara Worthington (nee Bingle) has never looked hotter or happier.

The 28-year-old model-turned-beauty entrepreneur has now spilled more secrets of her incredible 13kg post-baby body bounce-back!

‘I love all outdoor activities, ballet and I run a lot,’ she says in Cosmopolitan’s December issue. ‘If I use weights, I do three kilograms max and I do it at home. I mainly work out at home now since having a baby. I don’t get to the gym as much as I want to.’

That’s where Ballet Beautiful steps in, an on-trend workout favoured by the likes of Gigi Hadid and Lara’s good friend, actress Phoebe Tonkin.

‘I do ballet on Skype with my teacher in New York most mornings,’ says Lara. ‘It’s mainly all body work, lots of leg lifts and arm lifts. It’s great for toning and I love it. When I’m in New York, I go to the studio, which is good, but it’s cool doing it on Skype.’

As a busy working mum, even Lara has trouble fitting everything into her day, but she also has a simple solution for mothers wanting to slip in an effective 10-minute workout.

‘Bench dips,’ she says. ‘I always want to work on my arms and you can do them anywhere!’

To complement her anytime-anywhere fitness regime, Lara also follows a vegetarian diet, which her actor hubby Sam Worthington, 39, encouraged her to embrace.

‘I eat a lot of salad, rice, beans and bread,’ she says. ‘I love bread, it’s just so comforting. I have peanut butter toast or porridge with banana and cinnamon in the morning, salads for lunch and usually pasta for dinner. I’m very simple. I love pizza, that’s Sam’s favourite food, so we eat pizza at least twice a week. I eat what I like, but I eat small portions. I wouldn’t eat a whole pizza.’

Simple? Sounds it. And as for her signature dish, Lara’s flavour of the month is a curry she likes to make at home for her little family.

‘It’s this red kidney bean curry,’ she says. ‘It’s very warm and hearty. It has Indian spices and red kidney beans and fresh tomatoes – I just put it all in a pot.’
