The Geordie Shore cast have become famous for their debauchery and alcohol-fuelled antics, with many of the show’s storylines following the boys’ attempts to ‘pull girls’ and take them back to the famous ‘shag pad’.

However, it seems that their nights out aren’t always as wild as they appear to be.

Former Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan has opened up about what it takes for the boys to bring a girl back to the house, and describes the process as a ‘logistical nightmare’ as girls are vetted before appearing on the show.

‘It’s hard for the lads,’ says the 24-year-old. ‘They can’t just go out on to the dance floor and chat to a girl. There are so many security issues. It’s a logistical nightmare.’

Her comments come after fellow cast member Aaron Chalmers, 25, let out the process required to bring a girl back:

‘They have to have a passport for ID. And they’ve got to go and film a video to agree they are probably going to have sex. Then they have to sign a form. And then it takes them an hour or so to sober up before they can actually meet us.’

Wow… sounds like way too much effort if you ask us!
