It seems like the Navy and the Beyhive can put down their weapons because Rihanna has openly addressed her shady ‘liking’ of a photo that disses Beyoncé.

RiRi initially liked a photo on a fan account whose caption suggested the 28-year-old was robbed of a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year because of Beyoncé’s Lemonade.

The original comment read: ‘Congrats and all to @badgalriri and all for her 8 Grammy nods but tbh f— them because they snubbed her for Song of the Year and Album of the Year.’

‘I think they didn’t want her tied or passing someone else *cough cough* [lemon emoji referring to Beyoncé’s Lemonade],’ the comment continues. ‘Cause if they wouldn’t have played her she would have been in the lead with most Grammy nods. F— u Grammys, ANTI did amazing things this year and y’all played her. I think y’all shook!’

Following Rihanna’s thumbs up for the post, Beyoncé and RiRi fans were ready for World War III… but thankfully, the Work singer has finally set the record straight.

‘I never actually read your caption, thought the pic was funny and moved right along! Til I seen it pop up over and over!’ Rihanna wrote. ‘I’m petty af, yes. But this is just unnecessary! I wish y’all would drop this topic and see things from the bigger picture! We don’t need to be putting black women against each other! We deserve to be celebrated, and the Grammy Academy agrees!’

No harm, no foul, Beyoncé and Rihanna fans! As you all were.
