It’s pretty well-known that when a famous kid does something naughty/newsworthy, they rarely receive a punishment. However, following his arrest for cannabis possession, Rocco Ritchie is changing all this!

The 16-year-old son of Madonna and Guy Ritchie has reportedly just begun work as a Deliveroo rider in London – a job which will see the teen delivering takeaway to people on his bike.

Lunch hour has just started in the north London borough of Camden, which means it's crunch time for Billy Shannon, a fresh-faced food-delivery courier. Dressed in thermal clothing to ward off the autumnal cold, the 18-year-old jumps on his bike as an order comes in, mindful that he is paid not by the hour, but by the number of deliveries he makes. / AFP / DANIEL LEAL-OLIVAS (Photo credit should read DANIEL LEAL-OLIVAS/AFP/Getty Images)

‘It’s been a bit of a laugh for him and a way to placate his mum and dad until he works out what he wants to do,’ says an insider.

‘They both agree a bit of discipline and a schedule would do him good, whether that comes from voluntary work or something low paid. He has been looking into working in a local gardening centre.’

The new part-time job comes after Rocco was arrested in a cannabis bust after his neighbours, who were supposedly ‘fed up’ with Rocco ‘smoking or doing drugs’ in their posh London neighbourhood, reported his bad behaviour to police.

But good on Rocco for taking some initiative, and keep an eye out – your late night Thai delivery may come with a famous face!
