According to TMZ, Brad is being investigated by the LAPD and the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services for “allegedly getting verbally abusive and physical with his children.”

The website claim Brad’s supposed outburst occurred on a private jet last Wednesday and was the breaking point which prompted Angelina to file for divorce.

The shock report claims the Jolie-Pitt clan were on a flight last Wednesday when an intoxicated Brad became agitated and aggressive.

Insiders tell TMZ Brad’s alleged outburst on a private jet was Angie’s breaking point.

“He allegedly went wild, screaming and getting physical with the kids,” TMZ says.

The aircraft reportedly landed at 8PM and according to witnesses, the father-of-six proceeded to continue his rampage on the tarmac before trying to leave on a fuel truck.

TMZ insiders say a concerned onlooker reported the event to authorities.

A separate report from People claims Brad was “was drunk, and there was an argument between him and Angelina.”

The insider tells People one of Brangie’s older kids “then got caught in the middle, literally. He stepped in front of Brad. There was a parent-child argument which was not handled in the right way and escalated more than it should have.”

The Sun is reporting the older child Brad clashed with is Maddox, 15.

“There was a disagreement with the eldest boy. I know it started on the way to the airport before the plane took off and escalated on the plane. It was a teenage thing, there is a lot of hormones going on,” a staff member of the Brangelina household told the British publication.

“He is emphatic that it did not reach the level of physical abuse, that no one was physically harmed. He did not hit his child in the face in any way. He did not do that; he is emphatic about that. He put his hands on him, yes, because the confrontation was nose to nose and was spiraling out of control,” the insider adds.

It’s claimed by TMZ that both Brad and Angie have been interviewed by officials and their children will be questioned over the incident as well.

However, according to The Hollywood Reporter the Los Angeles Police Department aren’t investigating the Moneyball actor.

“We have no criminal investigation that we are actively pursuing,” Sergeant Barry Montgomery told THR.

“To my knowledge, [Brad talking to police] never happened. And right now, that is where our office is. We are not investigating any case, nor do we have any allegations against Mr. Pitt. We understand how rumors get spun up, and hopefully we can put a few of them to rest. We have no investigation involving Mr. Pitt.”

Another source tells TMZ Brad vehemently denies the series of event.

“He takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children. It’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light,” an insider says.

“He was never physically abusive to her or the kids. He did yell at one of their children on the plane during an argument, but he didn’t hit the child. Brad is denying claims of inappropriate behaviour,” a separate source explained to The New York Post.

Earlier in the week, Angelina stunned the world when she confirmed she had filed for divorce just two years after marrying Brad in the South of France.

“This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time,” the 41-year-old’s attorney, Robert Offer, said in a statement.

The actress is seeking full custody of children Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight, with Brad potentially only being given visitation rights.

However an insider close to the former couple told People that Brad thinks “sole custody for either of them doesn’t seem like what’s best for the children.”

“Brad thinks Angelina is a great mother,” the source continued, “But he is also a great father. There is no way he is going to be absent for any part of his kids’ lives.”

In happier times, Ange once mused of Brad: “We built a family. He is not just the love my life, he is my family. I hold that very dear.”

Meanwhile, Brad’s co-star and rumoured flame, Marion Cotillard, has released a statement addressing her involvement with the actor while confirming reports out of France she is indeed pregnant with her second child to husband, Guillaume Canet.

“This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into. I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up,” Marion posted to Instagram.

“Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need.”

Marion and Guillaume already share a five-year-old son called Marcel.

She continued: “Secondly to those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you. This crafted conversation isn’t distressing. And to all the media and the haters who are quick to pass judgment, I sincerely wish you a swift recovery.”

“Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment. With all my love Marion,” the French star concluded.

The French actress has finally broken her silence on the scandal.
