It’s a sad day for love… Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are reportedly separating after nearly ten years together.

“They are completely, officially done,” an insider tells Us Weekly

“She’s full-time back in L.A. He’s in Toronto,” the source adds. “They’ve been on the outs for a couple of months.”

Rachel and Hayden, both 36, first met on the set of their movie Jumper in 2007 and became engaged shortly thereafter. They quietly called the engagement off in August 2010, only to reconcile three months later.

Of course, fans have taken to social media to express their disappoint with the news:

The duo are parents to a baby girl named Briar Rose, whom they welcomed back in November 2014.

Hayden, perhaps best known for his role in the Star Wars films, later told People the darling name was inspired by none other than Sleeping Beauty.

“There’s a Disney reference there, I suppose. The original Sleeping Beauty is called Briar Rose,” he said.

“We both love all things Disney — but Rachel especially was very keen on the name,” the actor added. “We have Disney songs playing around the house 24/7 right now.”

The duo are yet to comment on the sad news.

Speaking with People’s talk show Mamarazzi, the former O.C. star recently opened up about balancing motherhood with her busy career.

“While I was filming Nashville on and off for four months, I was lucky enough that my mom could come with me and my daughter, my granny-nanny we call her. We don’t have help so it was wonderful that we got to do that,” Rachel told the outlet. “I’m so lucky and fortunate that her grandma can look after her. It takes a village man it really does.”

She went on to described her partner as a “wonderful father,” explaining that they always “try to be on the same page together and do things together as much as possible.”
