They have stood by each other through many hardships for the better part of a decade, but now Home and Away’s Ada Nicodemou and her husband, Chrys Xipolitas, have reportedly called time on their nine-year marriage.

With Ada joining her mother on a holiday a few weeks ago – leaving her husband behind with their three-year-old son, Johnas – rumours of a split began surfacing.

Ada, 38, and Chrys, 42, have not been seen out together since early December, with a source telling Woman’s Day that their marriage is ‘definitely over’.

The couple, who married in February 2007, suffered a devastating loss in 2014 after their second child, Harrison, was stillborn after an eight-month pregnancy.

Ada and Chrys also struggled with financial problems after Chrys’s restaurant was damaged by a fire, with the restaurateur also suffering from depression.

After separating for two months in 2010, the couple revealed that they were determined to make their marriage work.

However, despite attempts to keep the family together for the sake of their young son, it is said that Ada and Chrys have decided to end their union.
