Adele announced at her LA concert on Saturday night that she had been asked to perform at the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show, but turned down the offer.

The 28-year-old announced that she had been approached by the NFL to perform, but has declined.

‘Come, on. That show is not about music, and I don’t dance or anything like that. They were really kind, they did ask me, but I did say no,’ she told the crowd, who responded by booing.

‘I know I’m not Beyoncé, I can’t dance or anything like that,’ the singer added.

Earlier this year, Beyoncé gave one of the most memorable shows in Super Bowl history, performing Formation with Bruno Mars and Coldplay.
