Kesha has received another show of support from her celeb pals, with Adele revealing in her BRIT Awards acceptance speech that she’s behind the 28-year-old singer in her lawsuit against Sony and Dr Luke.

Instead of using her time on stage to speak about herself, the 27-year-old told the audience she’s firmly standing behind Kesha during her troubling court case.

‘I’d like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha,’ the singer said as she accepted her award for British Female Solo Artist.

On February 19, a distraught Kesha burst into tears when a New York Supreme Court judge denied her request to end her contract with producer Dr Luke and record company Sony.

But her fellow A-listers were quick to vocalise their support for the singer, including Taylor Swift, who donated a generous $350,000 to help fund the hearing.

‘I am beyond words in gratitude,’ Kesha wrote on Instagram following the ruling. ‘Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. A million times over and forever thank you. The support I have received has left my face swollen from tears. I love you all so much.’
