Known for her unapologetic pro plus-size stance, Adele surprised fans by debuting her slimmed-down bod last year – and now her weight-loss secrets have finally been revealed!

The 27-year-old appeared on the cover of Vogue, featuring her new slender frame, revealing that although she doesn’t enjoy working out, she does it for the sake of her son and to increase her stamina on her world tour.

‘I mainly moan. I’m not skipping to the f—ing gym. I don’t enjoy it. I do like doing weights; I don’t like looking in the mirror,’ Adele declared.

The mum-of-one is said to have lost at least 14kg after joining the gym and hiring personal trainer Pete Geracimo to get her into shape.

But her gruelling workouts aren’t the only thing aiding her slimdown. The star also revealed that she has ‘practically’ given up booze and stopped adding sugar to her tea.

‘I used to drink 10 cups a day with two sugars in each, so was on 20 sugars a day. Now I don’t drink it and have more energy than ever,’ the singer admitted in a recent interview.

Once declaring, ‘I’m not going to lose weight because someone tells me to. I make music to be a musician, not to be on the cover of Playboy,’ the star is adamant that she is doing this for the sake of her health and child, not to please anyone else.

‘It’s to get in shape for myself, not to be like a size zero or anything like that,’ she said.

And it seems the benefits of weight loss are also helping the star to feel more confident.

‘Actually, I like myself more than ever. I feel so comfortable in my own skin. I really like how I look, I like who I am, I like everyone that I surround myself with.’
