Angelina Jolie’s shock split from Brad Pitt is growing increasingly complicated, largely due to the couple’s children.

At first there were custody issues with their six children, as Angelina wanted sole custody of Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8. However, Brad has now been granted ‘temporary visitation rights’.

But in order to cope with the devastating divorce, Ange, 41, and her brood have begun therapy as a means to cope with what is going on.

A source close to the couple told People that Angelina is ‘staying strong for her kids’ even though ‘it’s been a traumatic situation.’

While Angelina is currently looking after all six kids, they’ve reportedly been spending their time at home watching movies and playing in the pool.

‘They didn’t leave the rental house for days,’ says the source close to the family. ‘It was hard for all of them. They are used to more activities and more entertainment so it’s difficult for them to just stay at the house. The younger kids don’t understand what’s going on.’

In addition to family therapy, Brad, 52, and Angelina will undergo individual counselling.
