He may have given up professional soccer three years ago, but it seems that David Beckham can’t quite kick his competitive streak.

In a behind-the-scenes video with Biotherm Homme, the 41-year-old explains, ‘I want to be the best and I want to win. I don’t think that’s ever going to go away.’

‘Whether it’s against my children, my mates, my dad, you can’t let them win,’ he says.

Happy anniversary, I love u so much x I’m so proud of our beautiful family x

But it’s not all about competition – in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel last year, David admitted he loves to embarrass his kids too!

When talking about being a stay-at-home dad to Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 11, and Harper, four, he revealed, ‘It’s nice to actually be at home and spend time with them and be a taxi driver’.

‘The younger one obviously loves me taking her to school. The two smaller boys, they love it, apart from my middle son Romeo,’ he added.

‘As soon as I take him into school I go to kiss him and he turns his cheek, so I will then pick him up and give him a bear hug and kiss him in front of his friends.’

David has made no secret of the great love he has for his four children with his wife, 42-year-old Victoria Beckham, and it seems that despite their dad’s need to win, they love him just as much.
