Emma Bunton has given Spice Girl fans the faint glimmer of hope that Victoria Beckham will rejoin the band for a 20-year anniversary tour.

During an appearance on UK breakfast show, This Morning, the 40-year-old singer answered the show’s hosts questions about a possible reunion tour.

‘There is nothing set in stone I personally think we should do something,’ she smiled, sending out a major alert to Victoria that she and the other ladies want her on-board.

‘For a long time she has wished us the best,’ she said of Vicky B, and said even her husband David hoped she would take a break from her flourishing fashion label to return to the stage.

Emma admitted: ‘I was talking to her at David’s birthday party and he said “you’ve got to do something”. Maybe she will change her mind, she does that, who knows.’

Emma’s confession comes after Melanie Chisholm excused herself from reunion plans, leaving Emma, Melanie Brown and Geri Horner to go ahead as a trio.

But even that caused dramas! Insiders say Mel C threatened to sue the ladies if they went ahead with plans to perform the band’s iconic hits without her.

‘Mel has told the other girls she is consulting lawyers about whether the reunion can go ahead without her,’ the source spilled.

‘She believes she brought music credibility to the group and there is no Spice Girls without her… There was talk of using the nickname GEM but they’ve decided against that because the strength is through the Spice brand.’

What a night! Happy birthday David.
