With tensions on the Voice panel reaching new heights thanks to rival Jessie J’s ‘unique’ alliance with fellow coaches Joel and Benji Madden – who are also her managers – it’s no surprise that Delta Goodrem has set about making plans for a future beyond the swivelling red chair.

‘I’d definitely love to do more acting,’ reveals the star, confirming a career change is in store.

With her recent move back to Australia from LA after almost five years, the songstress clearly isn’t afraid to make big calls when it comes to overhauling her life for the better. ‘My goal this year would be just to really enjoy everything that I have, and to have fun,’ says the free-spirited 31-year-old.

So if not on The Voice, where will we next see Delta? On the stage, where she’s just conquered a role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS, or on screen?

‘Both! My flame has definitely come back for acting,’ she explains, adding that it would be ‘really fulfilling’ to return to the ‘craft’ where she first started, playing Nina Tucker in Neighbours from 2002 to 2005.
