We’ve waited 12 long years and FINALLY we’ve received the news we’ve all been dying to hear since we said farewell to Friends!

All six cast members will reunite for a two-hour NBC TV special.

There have been rumours of a reunion ever since the hit show ended in 2004, as we all dealt with separation anxiety from Chandler, Joey, Ross, Rachel, Monica and Phoebe.

And now, it’s been confirmed that the cast will band together in a tribute to veteran sitcom director, James Burrows.

James, who has directed other hit series such as Cheers, The Big Bang Theory and Will & Grace, celebrated his 1000th episode on TV late last year and this reunion will also bring together other hit casts.

Although Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman, 59, has been adamant that a reunion of the actual show will not happen, we’re hoping that some of the secrets behind what happens to the characters might be shared on the TV special, to be aired in February.

‘There will never ever, it’s not to going to happen. They have to let it go,’ Marta has said previously.

We can’t let it go, Marta – we NEED to know!
