Iggy Azalea is coming home!

The Fancy rapper confirms she will replace Dannii Minogue as a judge on upcoming  season of The X Factor Australia.

‘I understand what it’s like to have giant dreams and intend to help other young Australians achieve theirs by sharing my knowledge and developing their talent in collaboration with The X Factor,’ says Iggy, 26.

‘Initially I didn’t know but then I thought it would be good to come back to Australia and have an opportunity to spend some time there and obviously to see my family, who live in Sydney,’ she adds. ‘So I think it will be a good situation for multiple reasons. I’m really excited and I don’t really know what to expect.’

Admitting it will be the longest she’s ‘been to Australia in probably 10 years,’ the Mullumbimby native says she’s looking forward to spending more time Down Under. ‘It has been a long time,’ Iggy confesses.

Seven has yet to reveal a broadcast date for the show’s eight season or confirm the names of the other judges, who last year included musicians Guy Sebastian, Chris Isaak and James Blunt.
