She’s become a role model for many young women around the globe and now Jennifer Lawrence’s trainer, Dalton Wong, has revealed what it’s like to work with the star.

Dalton was first hired to get Jen into shape for X-Men: First Class when the star was just 20 years old and they’ve been working together ever since.

The trainer spoke about how the actress helps to promote a positive body image to young women, revealing that he looks to her as a great role model for his own daughter!

‘Eating disorders are my number one fear for my daughter,’ he told The Times in an interview. ‘So I explain that Auntie Jennifer works really hard but she eats really well and she loves to exercise.’

Showing off her strong and athletic physique as Katniss Everdeen in the blockbuster Hunger Games films, you’d imagine that Jennifer would be on a strict diet to play the daring heroine.

However, the 25-year-old recently opened up about her food and exercise regime, saying, ‘Dalton is different to other trainers because he understands what my body needs to look its best – how to exercise, when to allow time to unwind, how to enjoy food.’  

‘I could never live on a “diet” and instead Dalton has taught me how to eat, move and live a delicious but healthy life. I will always thank him for that,’ she adds.

With a body like that, we think we’ll be taking a leaf out of Jen’s book for the year ahead!
