Neighbours newbie Jodi, 31, on how she juggles fitness, work and life as a mum to a two-year-old.

How do you fit exercise into your busy life?

It’s quite hard, but it is doable. I’ll take Aleeia and go walking in the park or do the Bondi to Bronte walk [in Sydney] with her in the pram. Then when I’m in Melbourne [for filming Neighbours] I can go tot he gym as much as I want – but with the 5am starts, it’s a little hard!

Does Aleeia keep you on your toes?

Absolutely. She’s full of energy, so I keep her busy.

Does she enjoy your exercise routine?

Yes! Aleeia loves coming with me to the gym and going for walks in the park.

And how do you stick to healthy eating?

I either eat at work or bring something from home. The night before, I’ll make up a salad – a clean, healthy mix of what will get me through the day.
