In what must only be prolonging the pain for everyone involved, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s court hearing has been pushed back to August, while Amber’s restraining order in place against Johnny has been reissued.

The estranged couple were set to show down in court this week over Amber’s domestic violence restraining order, but the proceedings have been postponed after a phone conference involving their respective lawyers. Neither Amber, 30, and Johnny, 53, are required to attend the hearing.

While Amber’s lawyers insisted they were ready to go to court over Johnny’s alleged abuse throughout their four-year relationship, the date of the hearing was changed as a result of Johnny’s attorney asking for a continuance.

The couple’s divorce came as a shock to many, and is only getting messier by the day. Here’s hoping that the couple can end their marriage as quickly as possible.
