Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s relationship was almost as prolific as the romance of their on-screen personas in the Twilight franchise. However, teenage hearts around the world broke when the real-life Bella and Edward split in 2013.

Kristen is now opening up about the end of their relationship in a candid interview with The New York Times’ T magazine.

The 26-year-old admits, ‘People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into a product. It wasn’t real life anymore. And that was gross to me.’

She continues, ‘It’s not that I want to hide who I am or hide anything I’m doing in my life. It’s that I don’t want to become a part of a story for entertainment value.’

Kristen is now dating visual effects producer Alicia Cargile, and says of the relationship, ‘I love her so much. I would never talk about any of my relationships before, but once I started dating girls, it seemed like there was an opportunity to represent something really positive.’
