Kanye West was due to be released from hospital today – however, the star will now remain under care at the UCLA Medical Center until he is deemed stable enough to leave.

Sources close to the 39-year-old rapper say that the initial plan was for his ‘personal doctor to take charge of him upon release’ but ‘we’re now told Kanye is still not stable and will not be released today. In fact, there is now no release date set, because he has not recovered from his breakdown a week ago.’

More news surrounding his hospitalisation has also come to light, with others adding that Kanye was having nightmares about wife Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbery.

Kim’s ordeal ‘did a number on him as much as Kim,’ says another insider, revealing, ‘The mere thought that anything could happen to her sent him into a tailspin. He wasn’t sleeping and he was having nightmares about it.’

Kanye was admitted to the medical centre on November 21 after his personal trainer had to call Ye’s doctor, who in turn called paramedics. The star was transported handcuffed to a gurney.
