There is no denying that Kate Hudson has one of the best bodies in Hollywood, and now the actress is sharing just how hard she works for it.

The 37-year-old actress appeared on the June cover of Shape magazine to promote her new swim line and book, Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body, and in the process dished on just how she maintains her hot bod (hint: it involves seriously switching it up).

After revealing that she’s tried almost every workout under the sun, Kate said she’s adapted a ‘listen to your body and stay motivated’ philosophy that’s really working for her. It includes a lot of exercising outdoors, and plenty of her beloved Pilates.

‘I was 19 when I discovered Pilates, and I’m still doing it,’ she says. ‘It’s the workout my body really responds to. It’s all about alignment, elongating your spine and strengthening your core.’

‘It makes me feel my strongest. Pilates is always challenging. The advanced moves are amazing, but so hard.’

The actress also spilled on what she does when she can’t make it to a gym.

‘There are a couple of workout apps that I use, like QE2, a full-body routine created by my Pilates teacher, Nicole Stuart. It keeps me in tip-top shape. Then there’s Hot5, which I love because each workout is only five minutes long.’
