In case you missed it, the whole world went into meltdown ealier this month when Kim Kardashian posted this nude selfie:

And reactions to the photo were mixed. Everyone from Pierce Brosnan to Chloë Grace Moretz had an opinion on the censored pic.

However, amongst the body shaming was this supportive response from Emily Ratajkowski:

What to wear tonight? #PFW

Emily also sent out a series of tweets, condemning those who negatively commented on Kim’s decision to post the racy photo.

Now the duo have come together to recreate Kim’s infamous selfie,  which they posted to Instagram and Twitter this morning.

Accompanying the photo was the caption: ‘When we’re like … we both have nothing to wear LOL @emrata,’, in reference to the reality star’s initial post.

With black bars to cover their modesty while they both flip the bird, 24-year-old Emily and 30-year-old Kim are joined in a bid to make a statement about female sexuality.

A woman’s entintitlement to their own image is a subject Ratajkowski feels passionate about.

This was recently demonstrated when she penned an essay for Lena Dunham’s Lenny, in which she references how uncomfortable she has previously been made to feel about her body.

The model also fired off a series of tweets this morning in support of their cause:

Well said, Emily!
