Michelle revealed the owner of the club forced himself onto her, and despite only being 18 at the time, she was able to fight him off.

‘The thing that kept coming into my mind was that I just kept saying to myself, “This is not going to happen. This is not going to happen. This is so not going to happen. This is not going to be my story”,’ Michelle said.

With the personal trainer ‘adamant to put up the best fight possible’ she was able to get free and report the incident at the nearest police station.

Even though the club owner was later jailed, Michelle said she was questioned over what she was wearing at the time of the attack.

‘It was actually in court that that came up; his lawyer started bringing into the whole court case what I was wearing,’ she revealed.

No words ❤️❤️❤️

The emotional scars of the incident left Michelle seeking counselling, but she was unable to keep up the therapy because of the cost.

‘I think I did, like, three sessions and I thought, “God, this is so expensive. I’m going to have to work this out for myself.”’
