Actress Alexis Arquette – best known for her role in The Wedding Singer where she played a Boy George impersonator – passed away on September 10 aged 47. Her famous siblings include fellow actors Rosanna, David and Patricia Arquette. Both David and Patricia chose to express their sorrow via social media.

‘Thank you all for your love and kind words about Alexis,’ tweeted David. ‘My hero for eternity.’

Alexis’s sister Patricia tweeted a link to the David Bowie song Starman, which was playing when Alexis passed away. David’s ex-wife Courteney Cox also posted. ‘My heart goes out to anyone who was lucky enough to know Alexis. We will love you and miss you forever.’

The actress, who also starred in Pulp Fiction, Bride of Chucky and Blended clearly made an impression during her too short life. ‘RIP to my sister,’ tweeted Boy George. ‘Another bright light gone out far too soon.’ Sad.
