The Bachelorette last night saw Georgia Love kick both Sam Johnston and Rhys Chilton to the curb after a tense date revealed their true motives for being on the show.

In what might be a first, 27-year-old Sam admitted that he was chasing fame and had planned to move to America before he landed a spot on the show.

Similarly, Rhys, 29, told Georgia that ‘if this was the outside world’ he would have ‘walked away’, and that despite being on a dating show where the premise is to find The One, he ‘wasn’t ready to meet her’.

Ever-lovely Georgia admitted that both uncomfortable one-on-one dates were like a ‘freight train to the face’, as she clearly did her best to make the most of an awful situation.

Despite initially only planning to send one of the boys home, both were sent packing after Georgia, 28, realised it wasn’t going to work out.

Sorry boys, but if you’re going to go on a dating show, make sure you’re ready to date first.
