Sam Webb, 28, is the nicest guy on TV at the moment, and after he stopped by the OK! office, we can confirm he’s just as genuine.

The Australian Survivor star, who is the co-founder of mental health and suicide awareness charity Livin, sits down to chat to OK! about tough times, the show and, of course, romance.

Are you enjoying the show?

I love it. It’s kind of weird being on the other side watching it.

The truth is finally coming out!

It is, but that’s all part of the game.

Is it true you’d never watched the show before?

I hadn’t watched it. I thought about it, but then went with my gut instinct. I just wanted to be Sam Webb and give it my best shot and have no regrets.

Were there hunger pains?

I’m not going to lie, it gets really tough, especially when you haven’t really eaten or slept for a couple of days. Everyone’s moods were out of control.

You deal with mental health through your charity Livin. Did that help?

I tried to stand out as the real positive one, and at the end of the day we’d all say something that we were grateful for. I think it helped.

Why did you start the charity?

We [Sam and his friend Casey Lyons] started it in 2013 after we lost a good friend [Dwayne Lally] to suicide. At the time I was in a really weird place in thisb world myself – it could’ve been
me – so we started this charity and that was the turning point.

We’ve seen that Chris Hemsworth supports Livin…

A good friend of mine works on the set of Thor and he wears our stuff religiously, and Chris asked what it was all about and asked my friend to get him some gear. It’s crazy.

Did you have any romances with anyone on the show?

I like females, so there was lots of flirting. You’ve got no-one else to talk to!

Are you looking forward to marriage and kids one day?

Definitely. I want little mini Webbs running around
