On Sunday, June 4, 50,000 punters flocked to the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester for Ariana Grande’s One Love concert.

The pop singer hosted the charity performance in honour of those touched by the tragic terror attacks in Manchester last month, which killed 29 and injured around 150.

“I want to thank you for coming together and being so strong. The kind of love and unity you’re displaying is the medicine the world needs right now,” she announced.

Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Coldplay, Pharrell Williams, the Black Eyed Peas, Miley Cyrus, Robbie Williams, Little Mix and Niall Horan took to the stage, for free, helping raise over $AUD300, 000 for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

Crowds were left gobsmacked when local music legend Liam Gallagher dropped by to perform his Oasis hit Live Forever, alongside Coldplay.

The empowering concert flowed with smiles and tears as dedications were made to all those affected by the tragedy.

Mumford and Son’s lead singer Marcus lead a one-minute silence, while Ariana dedicated a tear-jerking song to Olivia Campbell, a 15-year-old girl who was murdered in the horrifying attacks.

“Her mother told me Olivia wouldn’t want me to cry and would’ve wanted to hear the hits.”

Take That frontman, Gary Barlow, left the crowd with this message of hope: “We want to stand strong, look at the sky and sing loud and proud.”
