Holy Destiny’s Child! Jay Z has officially confessed to cheating on his wife Beyonce.

Somebody’s going to need to take this baseball bat out of our hands… And don’t even let us near an elevator otherwise we may go Solange Knowles on you.

There have been many indications that Bey’s boy Jay had been unfaithful to his wife of nine years.

Speculation arose after Beyonce’s little sister quite literally kicked his ass in a lift back in 2014.

Who could forget this fun moment in history…

Then Bey released Lemonade

Then Beyonce’s Lemonade album made many a nod to her husband’s indiscretions.

Then the final nail in the coffin was Jay-Z’s 4:44 record.

Now the rapper is speaking out, solidifying our suspicions in an exceptionally candid interview with The New York Times

Jay Z and Beyonce originally intended to release their music in a joint album, but then went in separate directions.

“The hardest thing is seeing pain on someone’s face that you caused, and then have to deal with yourself,” he said during the interview with New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet.

“You have to survive. So you go into survival mode, and when you go into survival mode, what happens? You shut down all emotions. So, even with women, you gonna shut down emotionally, so you can’t connect. … In my case, like, it’s deep. And then all the things happen from there: infidelity.”

The couple survived their rough patch.

He continued, saying 4:44 and Lemonade, “we were using our art almost like a therapy session,” before he added, “I’m really proud of the music she made, and she was really proud of the art I released.”

It saved them from divorce, “You know, most people walk away, and, like, divorce rate is like 50 percent or something ’cause most people can’t see themselves.”

That chapter in their lives helped shaped Beyonce and Jay Z, who are the proud parents to five-year-old Blue Ivy and five-month-old twins Sir and Rumi, as a couple.

“I grew so much from the experience.”
