He’s flown largely under the radar since his high-profile split from pop icon Britney Spears, but in a new, tell-all interview, Kevin Federline is opening up about his life as a full-time parent.

The former backup dancer has six kids; Kaleb, 12, and Kori, 14, whom he shares with ex Shar Jackson; Jayden, 10, and 11-year-old Preston, whose mother is ex Britney Spears; and daughters Jordan, five, and Peyton, three, who were born to current wife Victoria Prince.

“Having six, it feels like you’re trying to control a basketball team. But it’s worth it,” Federline tells Bravo.

“All my kids are great; they get along. By the time you have six, you are so well seasoned. I can probably change a diaper with one hand and feed a kid at the same time,” he added.

The couple’s kids are currently on tour with their mum.

Federline tied the knot with the Everytime singer in 2004 and divorced three years later, just two months after the birth of their second son.

When asked about the challenges in co-parenting with his pop star ex, the part-time DJ said: “It wasn’t always easy, but it’s a lot easier now.”

“You fall into your routine and it’s really easy now.”

In October 2007, Britney lost physical custody of her children to Federline.

Though Father’s Day Down Under falls in early September, the US and UK celebrates dads in June. This year, KFed marked the special day without sons Jayden and Preston, who are currently on tour with their mum.

“I’m used to not having all my kids, and this is gonna be one of those years,” he says.

“When you are co-parenting, you have to be willing to give up some of the things you would really like to do. My boys will be gone; their mum’s off in Asia on tour.”

Last year, the 39-year-old opened up about his past with the pop star, admitting their short-lived marriage was “overwhelming”, thanks to the paparazzi’s unrelenting interest in the pair.

“I mean, just getting around from place to place and having 20 people follow you all day long — your whole life kind of being told through somebody else’s eyes,” he told VLAD TV.

“We like, were caught right in the midst of that whole thing,” Federline went on. “It was so crazy. I look back at it and it’s like, at times it was so overwhelming.

“But now, none of that matters. Everything is cool. Both of us have moved on, our kids are doing great.”
