Just like Elvis and Tupac, many music fans are having a hard time accepting that Michael Jackson is actually dead.
The King of Pop passed away on June 25, 2009 but conspiracy theories continue to rage about his untimely demise and desperate fans often delve into any shady backstory they can to give themselves hope.
In the past few months Jackson fans have latched onto a picture Michael’s daughter, Paris Jackson shared on Instagram, The Sun reports.
Paris posted the selfie in a video montage, shared on May 4, and many believe the shadowy figure in the background is Jackson himself.
Paris – who captioned the montage “if you give a little love, you can get a little love of your own,” – appears to have removed the post but not before fans had reportedly speculated with comments like:
“Omg is that michael in the back????”
“Michael in the back?”
Before the post disappeared The Daily Mail reported that the video had been viewed over 300,000 times with hundreds of comments debating the “possible sighting.”
Others have pointed out that the shape could just be the car’s headrest.
