Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry are doing a really bad job at convincing us that they’re just friends.
The duo, who have long been rumoured to have the hots for each other, were caught getting flirty and super close at the afterparty for Rob’s new movie The Rover.
Witnesses say that shortly after the event started last Friday at the Whisky Blue at W Hotel in Los Angeles, Katy, 29, was spotted making a sneaky entrance via the kitchen.
The pair were later seen laughing and joking together, with and Katy playfully brushing her hand against Rob’s arm.
“At one point, Robert sauntered to the bar with a pal and was heard saying, ‘She’s so [bleeping] hot,” a partygoer told Hollywood Life.
Meanwhile, RPatz good pals Zac Efron, Guy Pearce and Michele Rodriguez were left to entertain themselves.
But things soon turned sour between the pair. By the end of the night, the insider revealed that Katy became angry when she suddenly stopped getting attention from the the Twilight star.
“Once the buzz started that she was there and once she wasn’t getting the attention from Rob that she thought she should be getting, she went outside and hung out with a girlfriend for the rest of the night,” the source added.
